La Union is finally open again to tourists from Luzon, including those who are from the NCR plus bubble. But the province has tourism guidelines that must be complied with to be able to visit La Union. One of the requirements in the guidelines is to apply for a travel request through Tara Na! VISITA (Visitor Information and Tourist Assistance) System.
To help you with the application for travel requests, I tried applying for one so I could share with you the process.
What is Tara Na! VISITA System?
Tara Na! is a travel management system that was developed in partnership with the Department of Tourism. You can easily view travel requirements and apply for a travel pass on the website.

As per Tara Na’s post in their Facebook page, it says “All tourists regardless of age must register for a Tara Na! account to visit your favorite vacation sites. For infants and children, school IDs and birth certificates will be accepted as a form of valid ID.” This is the link: https://www.facebook.com/103674428405782/posts/178669290906295/
You can also contact the travel agency that you chose during the registration so they could assist you.

Hi! We are planning to visit a property in La Union, balikan Lang po 4 persons are we still required to present RT PCR test? Thank you for quick reply.
Not anymore if you are fully vaccinated. You only need to show your vaccination card and tell people at the border na balikan lang kayo.
Hi, it’s hard to upload picture/file on tara.na.launion website. Been trying for a month til now im on step 3. Tried also minimizing file size but still to ni avail. What to do po?
Hi. Sorry but I don’t work for TARA NA so I don’t know what’s causing the problem. Have you tried getting Napanam QR Code instead? You can now use it in lieu of TARA NA. I have a post on how to register with Napanam. You can find it under La Union category
