Finding accommodation is one of the challenges when planning a trip. If you book during the peak season, chances are most of the hotels are already full. So to help you with your trip to the Surfing Capital of the North, I have made a compilation of the hotels, hostels, and resorts in San Juan, La Union. This post on where to stay in San Juan, La Union was originally a compilation of the accommodation establishments located in Brgy. Urbiztondo only and does not include those in Montemar Village and other parts of San Juan. But I’ll be updating it little by little to include homestays and hotels in other areas of San Juan.
The hotel/hostel information listed here is mostly from the internet (hotel/hostel’s website or Facebook page). Any rates listed here may change without prior notice. I encourage you to still visit the website/Facebook page of the hotel/hostel you are considering booking to check the pictures of their rooms and to get a more updated rate.

This is not a sponsored post and no one requested me to make this compilation. I just want to help people who would like to visit San Juan. I have grouped the hotels/hostels in San Juan into three areas: Monaliza Area for the accommodations near Monaliza Surf Resort, Kahuna Area for the accommodations near Kahuna Beach Resort, and Sebay Area for the accommodations near Sebay Surf Central. This is because if you are taking a bus to get to San Juan, the bus drivers and conductors are not familiar with most of the hotels. Most likely if you tell them the name of your hotel, they will just drop you off at Sebay. So better check which of the three is closest to your hotel so you won’t have to walk very far. I have also included some transient houses in San Juan but not located in Urbiztondo.

Hi guys, been to la union this holy week and i can say maganda sa charlies hangar. You have privacy kahit bed lang since parang capsule sya, may curtain pwde ka magbihis sa loob. And may small cabinet with outlet and light din if u want to sleep with lights on, na di makakasagabal sa iba mong kasama. Malamig ang aircon , though common bathroom, comftable naman at madaming shower, maaliwalas.. i love this place, pagbalik ko ,dyan pa din ako mag stay.. Any suggestion lang sa coffee shop and restaus? Mejo di ako nag enjoy sa foodtrip namin dito wala kaming idea e. thanks!!!
