Hotels in Baguio City That Are Now Open For Tourists

Last Updated on October 19, 2020 by Tina

Baguio City, known as the Summer Capital of the Philippines due to its cool climate, is now open to tourists from Region 1. This is after the Ridge to Reef Corridor Plan was officially launched on September 22, 2020. This travel corridor plan seeks to enable seamless travel for tourism in Baguio City, La Union, Pangasinan, Ilocos Sur, and Ilocos Norte, or the BLUPISIN. Only residents from Baguio City and the four provinces have the liberty to visit the tourist sites in these areas. One of the requirements when visiting the city is for the tourists to pre-book only in hotels in Baguio that have obtained a Certificate Authorizing Operation (CAO) from the Department of Tourism (DOT). Staying with friends or relatives is strictly prohibited.

There are over 100 accommodation establishments/hotels in Baguio City that have already been issued CAO by the DOT as of September 11, 2020. Below are some of the accommodation establishments that are now open. You can see the full list at the Department of Tourism website.
